• What is Project Desk?

- Project Desk is an online project and task management tool that provides a virtual workspace to facilitate effective communication between team members. It helps you to share information and work jointly on projects and efficiently use all available resources.
The entire Project Desk services include:

  • • How do I get started?
    - The best way to start is by signing up for our fully functional, FREE Account. This allows you to try our services FREE without obligation! This will familiarize you with the services we offer. Please check out our extremely reasonable pricing plans for more powerful service packages.
    • What operating system do I need to use Project Desk?
    - Project Desk is a web-based application, so it can be used on any operating system. All you need is a supported Web Browser (Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher / Netscape 6.0 or higher) and access to the Internet. Project Desk does not support Mac browsers.
    • What features are provided by Project Desk in the Free Account Package?
    - Project Desk offers a fully functional, FREE Account for you to try our Web based project management tool.
    You can:
  • Create up to 2 projects.
  • Include a total of 4 users to your project.
  • • Why am I unable to register my email address with Project Desk?
    - If your email address is already registered with Project Desk, you will not be able to register for a second account using the same ID. You may have registered your email address with Project Desk as a user or an administrator / secondary administrator.
    • I received an error message "This Login does not exist. Please try again" or "Please enter a valid password". Why does this happen?
    - When you enter your e-mail address and password, ensure that you enter the complete email address that you had used when registering (for example: john_smith@yahoo.com and not just john_smith). Also ensure that you enter the correct password after checking the caps lock status. If you have forgotten your password, simply click the 'Forgot Password?' link and enter the email ID that you had used while registering. Your password will be sent to this email ID.
    • How can I get Technical Support for using Project Desk?
    - We have a large FAQ's section that helps users to overcome problems. We also encourage users to contact us and submit support requests. It is our policy to respond to any electronic support request within one business day. Our trained technical representatives are always available for your assistance.
    • How can I cancel my Project Desk account?
    - Please contact us to cancel your Project Desk account.
    • How do I cancel my subscription?
    - Cancel a trial account using the Control Panel. To cancel a full Project Desk account, sign on to your PayPal account and follow the instructions. When you cancel an account, it will remain active until the end of the paid-for period. For instance, if your account is paid for through May 30, it will remain active until that date even if you cancel on May 12.
    • Is it possible for me to upgrade to a higher plan before my current subscription is over?
    - If you feel that you need to increase the amount of space needed or add more users, you may upgrade your subscription accordingly by clicking on the upgrade link in the member home page.
    • Do I have to pay any set-up fees to create my account on Project Desk?
    - No. We do NOT charge any setup fees. We are more interested in building a lasting relationship with our customers. You may also upgrade your account to a different service package, without paying any additional service charges.
    • How much does Project Desk cost?
    - Project Desk offers its services on a monthly subscription basis. Please visit our Pricing page to get information about our subscription plans.
    • What are the payment methods I can use?
    When you click on the buy now button, you will be given the choice to select the currency and the quantity.
    The quantity reflects on the number of months you would like to pre-pay.
    When you select the purchase button you'll see these choices:
    CREDIT CARD online
    CREDIT CARD by FAX
    CREDIT CARD by PHONE
    PRO-FORMA INVOICE by CHECK or WIRE
    CHECK by US or UK checks or International Money Orders

    You can select your payment method and fill in your name and address. When selecting Credit Card payment online,
    you will immediately receive a receipt.
    • What will show up on my Credit Card statement when my account will be billed by Project Desk?
    - "SWReg" is an Authorized payment processor for Project Desk, so "SWReg" will show up on your Credit Card statement when your account will be billed by Project Desk. If you are paying for Project Desk using PayPal, the subscription will appear on your PayPal statement as DeskShare.
    • When and how will you be charging me?
    - If you are paying via Credit Card, your subscription will be automatically renewed every month until canceled. If you are paying for Project Desk using PayPal, the subscription will appear on your PayPal statement as DeskShare.
    • Is it possible to used Projeck Desk on an existing network with a firewall?
    - If you can access external websites with your browser, you can use Project Desk.
    • How do you protect your system from viruses in documents that are shared by Project members?
    - All our systems run commercial-grade virus scanning software so if an infected document enters our environment it is immediately quarantined or removed. Our technical team then examines the document, if it is infected, the user is notified immediately.
